The SX1303 868MHz LoRaWAN Gateway HAT adds high-performance LoRaWAN capabilities to your Raspberry Pi. With multi-channel support, built-in GPS, fine timestamping, and exceptional sensitivity, it’s ideal for building your own long-range, high-capacity gateway with geolocation support.
This SX1303 868MHz LoRaWAN Gateway HAT is a compact, high-performance solution for building your own LoRaWAN gateway with a Raspberry Pi. It combines the SX1303 concentrator chip with the SX1250 radio front-end, supporting long-range communication, high node capacity, and excellent sensitivity down to -141dBm. The module supports concurrent multi-channel communication and features onboard PA and LNA for improved RF performance.
This version includes a HAT designed specifically for Raspberry Pi boards, featuring a 40-pin GPIO connector and an integrated L76K GPS/BD module for accurate timing and location data. The SX1303 also supports Fine Timestamping, enabling time-difference-of-arrival (TDOA) network positioning for geolocation applications.
The included SX1303 module connects via a mini-PCIe socket and includes four onboard LED indicators for system status. It comes with C-based development resources to help you get started.
