Chanel Classic Double Flap Medium Vintage

First introduced in 1955 in the Coco Chanel era, the Chanel classic flap bag is one of the most iconic handbags ever made. Features: Quilted lambskin with gold tone hardware; leather and gold chain interwoven strap which can be worn as a single long strap or a doubled-up shorter strap; exterior slip pocket; double flap into the main compartment with turn lock and interior dome closure; internal zipper pocket as well as 2 flat compartments; leather lined main compartment with 3 x slip pockets.

Measurements: 25 cm (length) x 7 cm (width at base) x 16 cm (height) x 43 cm (shoulder strap drop).

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The exterior leather has very little visible wear, just the lightest rubbing at the corners upon close inspection. The hardware is in excellent condition with hairline scratches visible to the CC turnlock. The strap has little to no visible wear and is in great condition. The interior flap has some light wear where the internal zip has rubbed (see photo) along with some very faint scratches as is unavoidable with lambskin. The interior is clean and in excellent condition.
