16×2 I2C RGB LCD Keypad HAT with RGB Backlight V2.0

This is a 16×2 character RGB Background LCD + Keypad HAT for the Raspberry Pi.

New V2.0! We made improvements in the wiring connection based on the previous LCD display as well as left out the contrast adjustment function, so the product can be pretty easy to use, and users can spend time focusing on the most important projects.

The RGB LCD1602 display is integrated on the shield and breaks out Raspberry Pi’s GPIO pins for connecting more devices. The HAT adopts an I2C interface, allowing you to control the 16 million colour combination options of the LCD backlight, along with brightness adjustment, display control etc.

There are 5 push buttons integrated on the board to help you switch the display and configure functions, then you can easily build up your data monitor and small operating platform.

This is the RGB Background version – allowing you to change the text colour via code. We also offer an RGB Font background version. Raspberry Pi not included.
