The 52Pi M.2 NVMe PoE+ HAT is designed for Raspberry Pi 5, combining high-speed NVMe M-Key storage support with Power over Ethernet functionality. It provides a direct PCIe M-key interface for connecting 2230 or 2242-format NVMe SSDs, such as the Raspberry Pi SSD.
Power is delivered via the 802.3at PoE+ standard, allowing the Raspberry Pi 5 and the connected SSD to be powered entirely through an Ethernet cable – ideal for compact, cable-free deployments. PoE supports up to 25W at 5.1V/4.5A when used with a compatible 802.3at PoE switch or injector.
Important: Do not connect power to the Pi 5’s USB-C port while this PoE+ HAT is in use, as it may cause damage.
Raspberry Pi and SSD not included.
