The Aeotec Range Extender 7 (UK) is a simple Z-Wave 700-series plug-and-play device that works to perfect your home automation system. It receives Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus signals, repeats them, and then rebroadcasts them to your Z-Wave automation network, boosting the range and reliability of your Z-Wave devices.
The Aeotec Range Extender 7 works seamlessly to amplify and repeat weak Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus signals. Simply plug it into a UK power socket, connect it to your Z-Wave network, and it automatically starts improving any poor Z-Wave signals that are in range.
Built upon Aeotec’s proprietary Gen7 hardware and firmware stack, it has a wireless range that’s up to 250% higher than the previous Range Extender 6 and non-Gen7 technology and is compatible with most certified Z-Wave gateways.
The extender is built upon the most advanced wireless automation technology available. It couples Aeotec’s unique Gen7 technology stack, with Z-Wave Plus V2 and 700 series. That allows a massive range of improvements including S2 security and SmartStart installation.
You will need a Z-Wave hub/existing Z-Wave network to use this device.
