Sterile Raytec X-Ray Detectable Swabs are single use medical devices designed for use in the operating theatres and manufactured to BP/EN 14079 standard. XRD Swabs are manufactured from 100% cotton gauze with an x-ray detectable thread running through. The X-Ray detectable thread contains a minimum of 55% Barium Sulphate. The XRD threads are made using a melt and weave process to ensure no loose threads, XRD swabs are soft, strong, highly absorbable, and low linting.
