This PaHub v2.1 is an I2C multiplexer module built around the PCA9548AP chip and is made to expand a single I2C connection into six independent channels. This allows multiple I2C devices, even those with the same address, to operate on the same bus without conflicts by switching between channels through polling.
The module includes a DIP switch, making it easy to adjust its I2C address. This also allows multiple PaHub units to be connected in series, further increasing the number of I2C devices you can use at the same time.
Compared to the earlier version, this updated model uses the DIP switch instead of resistor soldering, giving it more flexibility when managing multiple I2C peripherals. The address has also changed from Default 0x70 to 0x70~0x77 (default:0x70).
