The Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4 is an ultra-compact smart relay switch with built-in power monitoring, designed to give you full control and real-time energy tracking for lights and small appliances up to 8A. With support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee, and also Matter-certified, you can integrate it into a wide range of smart home systems without needing a hub – including Home Assistant!
Built on the Gen4 platform, the Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4 delivers multiprotocol connectivity (including Zigbee), faster performance, lower latency, and enhanced security with TLS 1.2 encryption. The Zigbee functionality acts as a Zigbee range extender, whilst the Bluetooth connection can be used as a Bluetooth Gateway for Shelly BLU sensors.
You can manage it locally or via the cloud using the Shelly Smart Control app, and if you’re more advanced, it supports scripting, MQTT, REST, inbound/outbound web sockets, KNXnet/IP communication and more. The Built-in over-temperature protection adds another layer of reassurance, and its ultra-compact design fits easily behind your wall sockets or switches (depending on the depth of your back boxes).
You may require a Zigbee gateway for your home automation system to use this device with Zigbee in your home automation system. Check out our Zigbee section for some great USB options, many of which are Raspberry Pi-compatible.
Note: You may require a neutral wire to use this product. Please research the device and your home wiring (safely, see below) before purchasing.
