Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 – Stand-Alone

The Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 is a smart four-button Bluetooth control interface. This is the standalone version, intended to be used as a standalone remote control without affixing it to a wall (but feel free to get creative with mounting options!).

The switch connects to other Shelly devices on the network through BLE (Bluetooth) technology and contains four buttons, each of which supports multi-click (single, double, triple and long-press clicks) for a total of 16 possible triggers.

Unlike Shelly’s other wall switches, the Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 requires no wiring and does not contain a bracket for a Shelly device on the back; instead, this switch contains a CR2032 lithium battery (included) and uses Bluetooth technology, and be configured through the web interface to wirelessly trigger individual appliances, multiple Shelly devices, or synchronised Smart Scenes.

Once connected to your Shelly network via Bluetooth (via another Shelly Plus, Pro or Gen3 device acting as a gateway, or the Shelly BLU Gateway), you can use it with your Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app – or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!
