Shelly Dimmer Gen3

The Shelly Dimmer Gen3 is a smart dimming controller for seamless remote control of dimmable lights and drivers. It can be used with or without a neutral wire. Precise measurement and power monitoring is possible when used with neutral. A bypass is required when the device is used without neutral and the load is under 20W.

Shelly Dimmer Gen3, powered by our own Shelly chip, offers precise and reliable dimming control. It works with or without a neutral wire and allows for easy adjustment of brightness through the app or a simple button press. With features like smart scheduling and night mode, it helps you customise dimming for different times of day and activities. Take full control of your dimmable lighting and quickly enhance comfort and efficiency.

It can be accessed, controlled and monitored remotely from any place where the user has internet connectivity, as long as the device is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the Internet. The unit has an embedded web interface which can be used to monitor and control the device, as well as adjust its settings. The Device can be used as a trailing edge dimmer switch, with or without a neutral wire.

Different types of actions, scenarios, and schedules can be set to sync your environment to your daily activities or business needs, via the Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app – or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!

• Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
