The Shelly Pro 3EM 120A is a Wi-Fi-operated DIN-mountable 3-Phase Energy Meter with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN connectivity, and comes with three 120A clamps.
With an active energy measurement accuracy of 1%, Shelly Pro 3EM can be used to monitor the consumption of any home appliances, electric circuits, and office equipment individually. It features 60 days of on-device historical data with a 1-minute resolution for each phase. Additionally, its scripting functionalities allow for the execution of complex scenes and provide broader monitoring abilities.
Different types of actions, scenarios, and schedules can be set to sync your environment to your daily activities or business needs, via the Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app – or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!
Note: You may require a neutral wire to use this product. Please research the device and your home wiring (safely, see below) before purchasing.
⚠️Caution – Read Before Buying⚠️
- Before beginning the installation, please read this guide and any other documents accompanying the device carefully and completely
- Danger of electrocution. The mounting/installation of the device should be performed by a qualified person (electrician)
- Failure to follow the installation procedures could lead to malfunction, danger to your health and life, violation of the law or refusal of legal and/or commercial guarantee (if any)
- Allterco Robotics (makers of Shelly products) and Mann Enterprises LTD are not responsible for any loss or damage in case of incorrect installation or improper operation of this device due to failure to follow the user and safety instructions in the printed guide accompanying this product (also available in the resources section below)
- Do not connect the device to appliances exceeding the given max load.
- Use the device only with a power grid and appliances which comply with all applicable regulations. Short circuit in the power grid or any appliance connected to the device may damage the device.
- Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
Shelly Pro Series
Enhanced with temperature, overpower, and overvoltage load protection, the Shelly Pro series is designed to be installed inside the breaker box (DIN). Allowing full smart automation with no additional cables or wiring, the Shelly Pro line is perfect for homes, offices, stores, businesses, and manufacturing facilities, as well as new buildings.

Five-year manufacturer warranty
All Shelly Pro products carry a five-year manufacturer warranty.
This warranty covers any issues with the hardware or firmware that exist at the time of purchase or that appear within the warranty period. The warranty includes all parts of the hardware, such as the body, mechanics, and display (if applicable). However, it does not cover consumable items like batteries or accessories, as their lifespan depends on how much they are used.

Features
- 4 Quadrant measurement
- DIN rail mounting
- Multiple connection types
- Current transformer connection
- Phase sequence error detection* (option)
- Channel-to-channel calibration**
- No load threshold***
- Optical pulse indication of energy usage
- Real-time clock

- Accuracy Class B (IEC 62053-21)
- Photovoltaic ready
* The Device has phase sequence error detection circuits. This detection works on phase voltages and considers only the zero crossings. The regular succession of these zero-crossing events is Phase A followed by Phase B followed by Phase C. If the sequence of zero-crossing events is, instead, Phase A followed by Phase C followed by Phase B, then a phase sequence error is reported when the Phase sequence error detection option is enabled.
** At least 500 W load is required for each channel.
*** In case the total load for the three channels drops below 30 VA per channel the measured power level will be displayed, but no consumed energy will be accumulated to the energy statistics and a No load threshold notification will be displayed in the Device web interface and the mobile application.
