You’re probably using an Arduino Mega because you have a LOT of devices to hook up to your project, and this shield is just itching to help you with that!
This is a terminal shield for the Arduino Mega 2560 R3, allowing you to securely hook up prototyping wire to your board. It’s better than working with jumper wires on more permanent projects as they have a tendency to fall out on busy projects with lots of connections – but if you do need to run any quick tests, female jumper headers are onboard too.
Each terminal block has a label sticker above the connection, and the shield also has a reset button and an LED power indicator. The blocks have a 3.5mm pitch and accept wires between 16-26 AWG. You’ll want to strip about 5mm off your wire.
